Afc Packers & Movers is based at Himalaya Plaza. It is a local spot that stays quite busy with people coming and going for all sorts of errands. Our particular corner of the plaza is usually filled with the smell of tape and the sound of heavy furniture being shifted. We have a small crew that has been doing this for a long time, so we don't need to talk much to get the job done. The office is really just a place to store our packing materials like crates, blankets, and boxes when they aren't out on a truck. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture ourselves; mostly just some sturdy stools and a desk where we keep the schedule. Himalaya Plaza is easy enough to find, which helps when drivers are trying to get back to base after a long day of moving houses. The work is physically demanding and we often go home with sore backs and dusty clothes, but that is just the nature of packing and moving. We don't spend money on big advertisements or polished websites. Most people find us just by seeing our trucks or walking past our door in the plaza. We just take the items, wrap them up as best as we can, and make sure they get loaded correctly onto the vehicle. It is straightforward work for people who need things moved safely.
