Advance Logistics

Advance Logistics is situated on the 2nd floor of 67A, Deshpran Sasmal Rd in Tollygunge. Being on the second floor means we have to walk up the stairs every day, which is good exercise I suppose. The office looks out over the busy road, and we can see the Metro trains going past from our windows. Tollygunge is a very crowded and loud part of the city, so there is never a dull moment. We have a few rooms filled with desks and filing cabinets. The walls are covered with calendars and maps. We spend a lot of time coordinating shipments and talking to drivers on the phone. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, especially when the sun hits the windows directly. We use heavy curtains to keep the heat out. The office isn't very big, so we all know what everyone else is working on. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. You just walk up and knock on the door. There are plenty of places nearby to grab a quick snack or a tea during the day. Sometimes the noise from the traffic makes it hard to hear on the phone, but we are used to it by now. It is just a regular office where we do our best to keep the logistics running smoothly for our clients.
