Adiba Leather Export is situated at 7/3-B along Miajan Ostagar Lane. If you know this part of the city, you know the lanes can be narrow and quite busy. Our building is right in the thick of it. You can usually smell the leather before you even see the sign. It’s a strong, earthy scent that we’ve all grown used to over the years. We handle a lot of leather goods meant for export, so there are always crates being packed and moved around. It’s physical work. The space inside isn’t very large, so we have to be smart about how we stack things. We don't have a showroom or a fancy reception area. It’s mostly just a working warehouse and a small office space for the paperwork. Every morning starts with checking the orders and seeing what needs to be shipped out next. The workers are local, and we’ve all known each other for a long time. It feels more like a small community than a corporate office. Miajan Ostagar Lane has its own energy, with people and carts moving back and forth all day. We just focus on getting the leather right and meeting our deadlines. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do. Sometimes the power goes out, but we just wait it out and keep going once it's back.
