Adhunik Motor Driving School

Adhunik Motor Driving School is located at 27, Block A3, on B T Road in Prasad Nagar. Being right near the Pradartak Jute Mill makes it a very recognizable spot for locals in Kolkata. The road out front is always packed with trucks and buses, which makes for some very intense driving lessons. We spend most of our time in the cars, navigating through that heavy traffic. Our office is just a small place where people sign up and wait for their turn. It’s a bit dusty because of all the vehicles passing by on B T Road, but we don't mind. We’ve taught so many people from the neighborhood how to handle a steering wheel. The jute mill is a big landmark, so we usually tell people to look for that if they get lost. It’s a simple business. We have a few cars, a few instructors, and a lot of students. Some of the learners are terrified at first, especially with the big trucks around, but we get them through it. The office itself is nothing special, just some benches and a desk with a lot of logbooks. We drink a lot of chai and talk about the day’s near-misses or successes. It’s a real, local operation where we know the name of the guy selling snacks outside. We just do our job and help people get on the road safely.
