Setting up here in Mahamayatala Garia was a big step for us. Our office is at 217 Mandirtala Road, right across from Garia Main Road where things start to get really busy. It is a lively spot to work in, even if the commute can be a bit of a headache during the rainy season when the roads get muddy. We spend most of our time dealing with the technical side of the industry. The walls in our unit are a bit scuffed from moving equipment around, and there’s always the sound of someone talking on a phone or a machine humming in the background. It isn't a fancy corporate setup with leather chairs. We have plastic chairs and sturdy tables because that’s what we need to get the job done. Sometimes we stay late when a project is due, and we’ll order some food from the local stalls nearby. The neighbors know us by now, and we’ve become a part of the daily rhythm of this street. There is always a lot of paperwork to file and technical specs to check over. It gets tiring but we are used to the pace of things. We just try to stay on top of the schedule and handle whatever issues pop up during the day. It’s a lot of hard work and not much glamour, which suits us just fine.
