Aasha - The Conception Care Clinic

You can find us over at the Sukh Sagar Building in Minto Park. It is one of those buildings that everyone in the neighborhood recognizes. Aasha - The Conception Care Clinic is where we spend our days helping families who are trying to have a baby. It is a quiet kind of work, mostly because the people coming in are often dealing with a lot of personal stuff. We don't make a big fuss about it. The office is set up to be functional. We have the usual desks, some chairs for waiting, and the rooms where we do the consultations. Minto Park is a decent area to be in, and being in the Sukh Sagar Building makes it convenient for people coming from different parts of the city. We see a lot of the same faces over a few months as they go through their process. The staff here is small. We know each other well and we know the patients too. It’s not like those big corporate hospitals where you’re just a number. Here, we remember names. The elevators in the building can be a bit slow some days, so it’s good to give yourself a few extra minutes. We do what we can to make the clinic feel okay for everyone. It’s just a regular place doing specific work for people who need it. It might not look like much from the outside but we do our work.
