Aakash Packing & Shipping

If you go over to Bonhooghly, near the ISI, you’ll find Aakash Packing & Shipping at C 7, Lake View Park. We’ve been in this part of the city for a good long while. Our work is pretty much what the name says. We pack things up and we ship them out. Most days you’ll find us surrounded by bubble wrap, tape, and cardboard boxes. It’s a hands-on job. We spend a lot of time making sure things are wrapped tightly so they don't break during the move. We handle a lot of local stuff, people moving houses or sending things to relatives. The Lake View Park area is a nice place to be based. It’s got a bit of a local feel to it, and we know many of the people who walk past our door. We don’t really have a big polished front office. It’s more of a workspace where the actual packing happens. Sometimes the floor is covered in scraps of paper and tape, but that’s just a sign of a busy day. We don’t make big promises we can’t keep. We just tell you when we can get your stuff packed and when it’ll likely arrive. It’s hard work, lifting heavy boxes and making sure everything is labeled right, but we’re used to it. We’re just local people doing a job for other local people, and we keep it simple.
