A Shabbir & Co is located at 26E, N S Rd, right in the heart of the Calcutta GPO area. This part of the city is old and has a lot of character. Our office is tucked away in one of those buildings that has seen a lot of history. We’ve been here for a long time, and the space reflects that. It’s full of ledgers, old desks, and piles of papers. We deal with various things, mostly stuff that other businesses around here need. It’s not a fancy place with air conditioning and glass walls. It’s just a solid, old-fashioned office where we get things done. The street outside is always packed with people and yellow taxis, which can make getting here a bit of a challenge sometimes. But once you’re inside, it’s a bit calmer. We know most of our neighbors and the postman by name. We don't spend money on big ads or anything like that. We just focus on the work at hand and talking to the people who walk through our door. Sometimes the fans are a bit loud and the walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but it feels like home to us. It’s a real Kolkata business, simple and straightforward, without any unnecessary extras or polished speeches. We just keep going, day after day, and that's enough for us to stay satisfied with our work.
