A. K. Gupta & Co. is situated over at 28-A, Dr. Rajendra Road. It’s a plain building, nothing that really stands out if you’re just driving past. We like it that way. Inside, it’s mostly just us and a lot of filing cabinets. We’ve been on Dr. Rajendra Road for a good number of years now. The office is a bit old-fashioned. We still use a lot of paper and pens instead of doing everything on a screen. There’s a certain weight to the old ledgers that we like. Our days are filled with looking over figures and making sure everything is in its proper place. It can be tedious for some, but for us, it’s just the daily grind. We get visitors now and then, mostly people we’ve known for a long time. There isn't a reception desk with a fancy bell or anything. You just walk in and someone will help you. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, which is good for focusing. Sometimes the rain hits the windows pretty hard and we have to put a bucket under a small leak in the corner, but we haven't gotten around to fixing that yet. It’s a real place with real people working in it. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just provide what we’ve always provided from this same spot. It’s just how we operate.
