We have been running this furniture shop on Justice Chandra Madhab Road for quite some time now. You can find us right across from the Philips showroom, which makes it easy for most folks to spot us. The building isn't anything fancy, just a regular place where we keep all the sofas, dining tables, and bed frames we’ve got. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in here when a new shipment arrives from the warehouse, but we manage to clear a path. My brother and I usually handle the walk-in customers, while a couple of the boys help with the heavy lifting and loading the tempo outside. It gets pretty hot in this part of town during the summer months, so we keep the fans going full blast. People mostly come in looking for something sturdy for their flats around here. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us showing you what’s in stock and telling you if it’ll fit in your living room. We spend a lot of time on the phone checking on deliveries or talking to the carpenters about a specific finish. It's a lot of work keeping things organized, especially when the traffic on Lala Lajpat Rai Sarani gets backed up and the delivery trucks are late. We try to keep things simple and honest here. If a table has a small scratch, we’ll point it out before you buy it. That’s just how we do things.
