Yashwant Motor Driving School

We are located on Vita Road in Tasgaon, right here in the Kolhapur area. Our driving school has been around for some time, helping folks get their licenses. It’s mostly just us and a couple of cars. Learning to drive can be a bit scary for some people, especially with the traffic we have around here, so we try to keep things calm. We spend a lot of time on the road every day. Sometimes the cars need repairs or the paperwork at the RTO takes longer than we expect, but that is part of the job. We don't have a big office or anything, just a simple desk and chairs where we handle the forms. Most of our students are young people or sometimes older folks who finally decided they needed to learn. We go over the basics, like how to use the clutch without stalling and what the different signs mean. It’s a lot of sitting in the passenger seat and keeping an eye on things. The weather in Kolhapur can get pretty hot, so those afternoon lessons are tough. We just keep going because people need to get from place to place. We know the roads around Tasgaon like the back of our hand now. It isn't a glamorous life, just driving back and forth, but it’s what we do. We like seeing someone finally get their license and drive off on their own.
