Yashodhan Hospital

We’ve been here in the Extension Area for a good while now. It’s a busy spot, especially in the mornings when everyone is heading out. Yashodhan Hospital isn’t some fancy glass building you see in the city center; it’s just a solid place where we do our work. Sometimes the front door sticks a bit when it’s humid, but we’re used to it. The waiting room has these old wooden chairs that have been there since I can remember. People from the neighborhood just walk in, usually without calling first, because they know us. The doctors are always running around, clutching files and talking to families in the hallways. It gets a bit loud when the tea man comes around at eleven. We try to keep things organized, but on Mondays, it’s always a bit of a mess with all the paperwork. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but honestly, nobody really cares about that as long as they get seen. We see kids with scraped knees and older folks who just want to chat for a minute while they wait for their check-up. It’s just how things go here. We don't have a big sign out front, just the one name. It’s enough though. Everyone knows the way. The Extension Area has changed a lot over the years, more shops and more cars now, but we just keep doing what we’ve always done.
