X Ray Clinic

Our X Ray Clinic is right near the police station in Miraj. It’s an easy landmark to give people when they’re looking for us. This part of Miraj has an old feel to it, and the streets are often crowded with people going about their business. The clinic is a simple setup. We have the heavy lead-lined doors for the X-ray room and a small area where the films are processed. It’s not a large place, so it can feel a bit cramped when three or four people are waiting at once. The floor is made of that old stone that stays cool even when it’s hot outside. We don’t have a big staff, just a couple of us who handle everything from the front desk to helping the technician. The police station being so close means there’s often sirens or a lot of shouting nearby, but we’re used to it. Sometimes we have to wait a bit for the equipment to warm up in the morning. We spend a lot of time filing reports and making sure the patient names are spelled right on the envelopes. It’s a very manual process in some ways, but it works for us. People in Miraj appreciate having a place they can just walk into without a lot of complicated steps. We just do the scans and help them get their results without making a big deal out of it. It’s just work.
