VM Dhanlaxmi Nidhi Limited is located at Shop No. LG-9 in the Vaibhavlaxmi building. The address is 324 K/KH E Ward, right here in Karvir, Kolhapur. We are down on the lower ground floor, which keeps the office a bit cooler during those hot Kolhapur summers. It’s a small shop space, but it’s enough for what we do. We mostly spend our time processing transactions and talking to the local people who live and work in E Ward. Karvir is a busy place, and there’s always something going on outside, but inside we just focus on the numbers. The office isn’t anything special to look at. We have a counter, some storage for our files, and a few lights that flicker occasionally. We don't have a big staff, so you usually see the same two or three people every time you come in. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the shopkeepers in the Vaibhavlaxmi building. It’s a community effort, really. We handle the money side of things for our members and keep the records as neat as we can. We don't use any big fancy words to describe what we do. We just run a Nidhi company according to the rules and try to be helpful to the folks who trust us with their savings. If you’re in the area, you just head to the lower ground level.
