Vm Bricks

Vm Bricks is based in Jaisinghpur, and we are quite close to the Siddhivinayak Temple. You can usually hear the bells or the music from the temple during the festivals while we are out in the yard. Being near a landmark like that makes it easy to give directions to people who are coming to see us for the first time. The work here is pretty straightforward. We make bricks. It involves a lot of lifting and moving heavy things under the sun. We have a couple of sheds where we keep the equipment, but most of the action happens out in the open. The ground is always a bit uneven and there is usually a layer of fine dust on everything we own. We aren't using any high-tech gadgets or fancy systems here. It is just about the raw materials and the time it takes to get them shaped and dried. Some days the weather is nice and we get a lot done, other days it is too humid and everyone gets tired fast. We have a small team of local guys who know the routine. We don't do much in the way of talking; we just get to the site and start the piles. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from dawn until it gets too dark to see the stacks clearly. We just let the bricks sit out and hope for no rain.
