Our small office is situated in Visrambhag, which is a fairly central part of the town. We don't have a big neon sign or anything, just a small board near the entrance. Inside, it is mostly stacks of files and a few chairs for people to sit while they wait. We spend a lot of our day looking through documents and filling out forms for people who come to us for advice. It’s a lot of paperwork, and sometimes the desk gets buried under all the folders. We drink a lot of tea while we work through the different cases and requirements that people bring in. The street outside can get noisy with the motorbikes, but it’s usually manageable once you close the door. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us who know how the local systems work and how to get things filed correctly. It’s a lot of talking on the phone and visiting different offices to get things moving. Sometimes it takes longer than expected because of some missing paper or a holiday we forgot about. We’ve been operating out of Visrambhag for a while now and most of the people nearby know who we are. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s steady and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We like the routine of it all and seeing the same faces come through the door.
