We started Vishwa Net Cafe here in Hirle a few years back because the village didn’t have many places to get online or print documents. It is located right at the post, so everyone knows where to find us. Usually, it is just me or one of the boys sitting at the counter. We have a couple of desktop computers set up against the wall. They aren't the newest models, but they get the job done when students need to fill out their exam forms or if someone needs to check their land records. The internet can be a bit slow when it rains, which happens quite often in our area. We also do xerox and some basic typing work. On most days, you will see a few kids playing games or some older men asking for help with their phones. The shop is small and can get a bit cramped if more than five people come in at once. We do not have fancy chairs or air conditioning, just a few plastic stools and a ceiling fan that makes a bit of noise. It gets pretty busy in the mornings when the students are out. We try to keep the place clean, but dust always finds its way in from the main road. Being in a place like Hirle means we know almost everyone who walks through the door. It is just a simple business running out of a small room, helping people with the digital stuff they find confusing.
