We are based over near the ASC College area in Ichalkaranji. The address is H.No.W.No.10/559/1, at Sanjaykumar Sheshappa Anigol's place. It’s a busy part of town with all the students and factory workers moving around all the time. Our office isn't very large at all. It’s just one main room where we set up some wooden tables and a couple of metal cabinets for the files. We spend a lot of time on the phone or just talking to people who happen to drop by. It gets quite hot in the summer months, so we keep the windows wide open to get a breeze. You can hear the traffic and the noise from the college road all day long. We handle things like small savings accounts and simple gold loans. People come to us because we're right here in the neighborhood and they know us. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone doing ads. Most people find out about us through word of mouth from their friends. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the front door during the monsoon, but we just put a bucket there and keep on going. It’s just how things work in an old building like this. We try to be helpful to everyone. If someone has a question about their account, we just sit down and explain it as best we can. We drink a lot of coffee to stay awake during the long afternoons. It’s a decent place to work.
