This is Ujjwala Kadam Hospital. You can find us on the first floor of Shri Samarth Sankul. Being right near the Kolhapur Railway Station makes it pretty easy to get to by train. Kapil Tirth Market is also close by, and there’s always a rickshaw stand right there for folks without cars. It can get quite loud with all the shouting and the engines, but that’s just life in this part of town. Inside, things are kept as calm as possible, though hospitals are rarely quiet places. We’ve been in this building for a while now. Occasionally the lift acts up, so the stairs can be a bit of a climb. All kinds of people come through every day. Some are just stopping in for a quick check, while others stay longer. Nurses and staff are usually running around. It’s a busy spot because of the location. Being near the station means visitors come from all over, not just local Kolhapur residents. Fancy waiting rooms with big TVs aren't found here. It’s just chairs and a desk and the doctors' rooms. The focus is on the patients. We’ve seen the market grow over the years. This is a practical place to be. Helping everyone who comes through the door is the main goal. It's been a long journey here in the middle of everything, just doing the daily work.
