Biomedics

We spend most of our time here in Kolhar Budruk, which is a quiet spot in the Rahata area of Ahmednagar. Being out here means things move at a bit of a slower pace compared to the big cities, but that is just fine for us. The shop is simple and we keep things organized as best as we can. Most mornings start with dusting the shelves and checking what arrived in the latest delivery. We see a lot of the same faces from the village and nearby taluka. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so we usually sit back for a bit before the evening rush starts. People come in looking for specific medical items and we just try to find what they need in the stacks. It is not a fancy setup. The floor is concrete and we have basic wooden counters that have been here for years. Sometimes the power goes out and we just wait it out. Our neighbors are mostly farmers or people working in local small shops. It is a decent way to earn a living and stay connected to the community here. The address is pretty well known around here, even if it sounds a bit long when you say it out loud. We are just doing our work and going home at the end of the day like everyone else. It is a bit dusty sometimes because of the local roads but we keep the doors open for the breeze.
