Tagare Eye Hospital

This is the Tagare Eye Hospital located at Swapna 4 in Pratibhanagar, Kolhapur. The address gets written down a few different ways sometimes, but we are just in that one spot near the other apartments. It’s a quiet enough street most of the time, though you get the occasional vendor shouting or a dog barking outside. We take care of people's eyes and that keeps us plenty busy from the time we open until we lock up in the evening. The building itself is called Swapna 4. It’s got that lived-in feel which I think people around here actually appreciate. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big glass windows or expensive modern art in the lobby. We just have the medical machines we need and some basic chairs for folks to sit in while they wait their turn. Being in Pratibhanagar means we get a lot of locals walking over from their houses. We know the area well and have seen the shops nearby change over the years. Some days we have more patients than we expected, but that’s just the way the medical business goes. We don't have any big speeches or mission statements. We just open up, sweep the floors, and start seeing whoever has an appointment. It's a simple setup that works for us. If you are coming from the main part of Kolhapur, it’s not too far of a drive at all. We just keep our heads down and do our jobs for the neighborhood.
