Super Craft Foundry

Working at Super Craft Foundry means spending a lot of time in the L.K. Akiwate Ind. Estate. Our place is at number 90. It’s an industrial area, so it’s not exactly quiet or clean, but that’s the nature of foundry work. There is always the sound of machinery and the smell of metal in the air. We’ve been here for quite some time, and the building has seen a lot of use. We don’t have a fancy lobby or air-conditioned offices that feel like a hotel. It’s a workshop, plain and simple. Most of our guys have been with us for years and they know the equipment better than anyone. We get orders, we cast the parts, and we ship them out. It’s honest work that gets your hands dirty. The floors are concrete and usually have some sand or metal scraps on them by the end of the shift. We aren’t trying to impress anyone with big words or corporate talk. We just focus on making sure the castings come out right. The industrial estate has grown around us, and we’ve seen plenty of neighbors come and go. We just keep our heads down and stay busy. If you visit us, you’ll probably find us in the back near the furnace rather than sitting at a desk. That’s just how we operate every single day of the week.
