Sona Maternity & Nursing Home

We are located at 186/2 in T P Scheme 2, right in the Dudhali area of Kolhapur. If you know where the Hari Mandir is, then we are very easy to find. This is a maternity and nursing home where we spend our days looking after mothers and their new babies. The building is a standard size for this part of town and we have been operating here for quite some time. It gets pretty warm in the afternoons, so we keep the ceiling fans going at full speed. The staff here is mostly local people who have been with us for years. We don't use any fancy systems, just the usual registers and files to keep track of everything. The street outside can get a bit blocked with cars and rickshaws, especially during temple hours. Inside, things are usually a bit quieter, though you can often hear babies crying from the wards. We have a small area for families to sit while they wait for news. It’s not a high-end hospital with glass elevators, just a honest place where we do our daily jobs. We spend a lot of time cleaning and making sure the beds are ready. Most of our patients come from the surrounding parts of Kolhapur. We just show up every morning, open the gates, and start our routine. It’s steady work and we are glad to be a part of the local community here near the temple.
