Site Engg. is based at Plot No 76 in 'A' Ward, right near the Shalini Palace in Kolhapur. It’s a well-known landmark, so people usually find us without too much trouble. The office is in a decent neighborhood where there are a lot of trees and old buildings. We’ve been at this address, 416012, for a good while. The space inside is mostly filled with drafting tables and stacks of site reports. We don't have much in the way of art on the walls, just some old calendars and a map of the city. It’s a working office, not a showroom. You might hear the sound of the traffic from the main road, but it’s mostly peaceful inside. We don't use a lot of technical jargon when we talk to people; we prefer to keep things simple and easy to understand. Sometimes the coffee is cold and the printer jams, but we just deal with it and move on. Kolhapur is a great city to work in, and being near the palace gives the area a bit of character. We are just a small group of people trying to make a living doing engineering work. We don't have a big corporate structure or a bunch of managers. We just talk to each other across the room and get the work done. It’s a relaxed environment, even when we have a lot of projects on the go.
