You can find us at Ghar No. 177 in the Mhada Colony in Kolhapur. We are located at Santosh Rajendra Kshirsagar’s place. It’s a regular residential neighborhood where most people know their neighbors. We set this up to give the people living in the colony a way to save their money and get small loans when they need some help. We don't have a big corporate building with glass walls or shiny floors. It is just a room where we keep our files and meet with the members. People in Kolhapur value hard work and being honest, so we try to do the same in our daily work. We handle things like recurring deposits and loans against gold. Most of our day is spent filling out forms and chatting with people from the neighborhood who stop by. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy with the kids playing outside in the colony, but we don't mind that at all. It’s just part of being in a community. We aren't some big financial entity from the city. We are just local people helping out other local people. We keep everything very simple. There are no complicated terms here that nobody can understand. If someone has a question, we just talk it through in plain Marathi or Hindi. We’ve been here for a while now and we plan to stay. It’s all about helping the colony folks with their everyday money matters.
