If you know this town, you know it’s basically the textile hub for the whole Kolhapur area. The sound of power looms is everywhere you go. Our office is a working space, filled with samples and thick ledgers. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles here. It’s an older building, and it definitely feels like it. We spend most of our time dealing with the spinning and yarn side of the business. Everyone here knows each other, so it’s a very community-driven way of working. We talk to weavers and local traders all day long. It's not the kind of place where you wear a suit or anything fancy. We’re usually in casual clothes, just getting through the day's work. Sometimes the power goes out or the narrow streets get blocked by a delivery truck, but that’s just life in Ichalkaranji. We focus on the product and making sure our regulars get what they need without any fuss. There isn't a marketing team here; it's just the owners and a couple of helpers who know the business well. We’ve been part of this yarn market for a long time. It’s hard work, but it’s what we’ve always done, and the building has become a second home for us over the years.
