Our office is at 479, D Ward, in Sase Galli. It is right in the Gangavesh area of Kolhapur, which is a place with a lot of history. If you look across the street, you will see the Gangavesh Talim. There is always something going on over there with the wrestlers and the local people. Sase Galli is a bit narrow, so it gets crowded during the market hours. We have been working out of this spot for quite some time now. Most of our day is spent handling local travel requests and talking to people who walk in from the neighborhood. It is a very traditional part of the city. We don't have a big corporate setup, just a simple desk and some stools for customers. Sometimes the noise from the street makes it hard to hear the phone, but we are used to it by now. We handle a lot of trips for people going to the temples or visiting family nearby. The morning tea arrives from the stall down the lane and that is when we start checking the schedule for the vans and cars. It’s a practical business. We know the roads around here very well because we have lived in this part of Kolhapur for years. Every day is different, depending on who walks through the door or who needs a ride to the station. We just keep things moving as best as we can.
