Rajechhatrapati Urban Nidhi Limited is our small office near Talkhed Phata. We operate out of Lahu Shriram Pawarat’s place, which is house number 81/7. It’s a very easy spot to find if you are familiar with the Phata. We aren't some big city firm with a hundred employees. It’s just a few of us here. We keep things very informal but we are serious about the work. Our office is a bit crowded with papers and files, but we know where everything is. Lahu is usually around if anyone has a specific question. We don't have air conditioning, just a couple of ceiling fans that work pretty well. The furniture is nothing special, just what we need to get the job done. We handle things for the urban community around the Talkhed area. It’s a practical business for practical people. We don't use any of those fancy marketing slogans you see in the city. We just tell people what we do and they come to us if they need it. Being near the Phata means there is always someone passing by. Sometimes they stop in just to say hello. We like that. It keeps us connected to what’s happening in the area. The address is 81/7, and we are usually open during normal daylight hours. It’s just an honest, local place. We don’t have much room for visitors to sit, but we always find a chair. The work is mostly routine and we like the rhythm.
