Radhamohan Sales

Our spot is at No. 14/320 in Shatkon Chowk. It is right on Chandur Road. If you know the chowk, you know how busy it can get with all the motorcycles and cycles crossing through. Radhamohan Sales is where I sit every day. We have a lot of different items for sale, mostly things for the house or small hardware. The shop is a bit old-fashioned. We still use an old ledger for some of our notes. It is not a very fancy operation. We have metal shutters that we roll up every morning. The dust from Chandur Road is a real problem, so we are constantly sweeping the floor. Sometimes my cousins come by to help me with the heavy lifting when we get a new shipment. We don't really have a website or anything like that. People just know we are here because of the sign at the chowk. It’s a friendly enough place. We talk to the other shopkeepers while we wait for customers. The sun sets right across from our entrance, which makes it very bright in the late afternoon. We usually close up once it gets dark. It is a simple life and a simple business. We don't try to impress anyone with big talk. We just show them what we have on the shelf and tell them the price. That is how we have always done it.
