We are located at Plot No.-1816 on the Sangli Road in Tasgoan, specifically in the Kavathe Ekand area. R A Masale Pvt. Ltd. is a name that sounds bigger than we actually are. Most of our work happens in a large shed where we process different spices. The air is always thick with the smell of turmeric and chili. It makes you sneeze if you aren't used to it. We have some heavy machinery for grinding, but a lot of the sorting is still done by hand on large wooden tables. The road outside is often dusty from the trucks going back and forth to Sangli. We have been at this plot for quite a while now. The workers come in early, usually around seven, to beat the afternoon heat. We don't have air conditioning, just high ceilings and some small windows. It’s a very practical environment. We don't bother with fancy packaging or colorful labels if we can help it. We just use clear bags and simple stickers. The focus is always on the contents. Kavathe Ekand is a small place, so we know our suppliers personally. They bring the raw spices in big jute sacks. We spend our days weighing, grinding, and packing. It is a repetitive job, but there is a certain rhythm to it that we like. We don't have a sales team. We just wait for orders to come in and fulfill them.
