Pristine Womens Hospital

You can find us over at Square 9 Building on Assembly Road. We are in the E Ward, specifically at 395/2, right near the IDBI Bank. That’s usually how people find us—they just look for the bank and we’re right there in Shahupuri. Kolhapur is a busy place, and this street is no exception. We’ve been here for a while now, looking after women who come in from all over the city and even some from the outlying villages. The hospital isn't some giant glass tower. It’s a practical building that serves the purpose. We have a few floors and the usual hospital smells of disinfectant and floor cleaner. The reception desk is right as you walk in, and it’s usually piled with folders and charts. It’s a bit of a hive of activity during the day. Nurses are running around, and families are sitting in the hallways talking quietly. We try to keep the noise down, but with the traffic on Assembly Road, it’s always got that city hum. Some days are quieter than others. On weekends, things tend to slow down a little, but we’re still here. We don't have a lot of corporate talk here. We just show up, do the work, and help whoever walks through the door. It’s a local place for local people. Most of us have lived in Kolhapur our whole lives.
