Our office is out in Halkarni, which is in the Gadhinglaj area of Kolhapur. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city, but we like being here. We are engineers and contractors, so we handle a lot of the technical side of building as well as the actual labor. People know us as Pratibha Constructions. Even though our name is a bit long, we are just a local team doing our thing in the district. The work involves a lot of planning and moving equipment around these parts. Being in a place like Halkarni means we know the local landscape and the people well. We don't put on airs or try to act like we're a huge international firm. We are just a private limited company that focuses on solid engineering and getting contracts finished on time. The office here is usually busy with people coming in to talk about new projects or checking on old ones. We deal with all sorts of construction tasks. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit much, but we have a small staff to handle that. We focus on the practical side of things. If something needs to be built in this part of Kolhapur, we are usually one of the first ones people think of. We just keep our heads down and do the work, day in and day out. It's a steady life and we're glad to be a part of this community.
