Panchganga Travels

You will find us at the Panchganga Hotel within Mahalaxmi Chambers. We are right at Dabholkar Corner, which is probably one of the busiest intersections in all of Kolhapur. We are directly opposite the C B Stand, so the location is very convenient for anyone arriving by bus. The noise from the traffic at Dabholkar Corner is something you just get used to after a few days. Our office is tucked away in the hotel building, which makes it a good spot for travelers staying there. We spend our days managing the cars and talking to guests who need to see the sights around town. The office is small and filled with the usual things like registers, a landline phone, and a calendar on the wall. We start early in the morning, around the same time the first buses start rolling into the station across the road. We handle a lot of different routes, and we try to keep the drivers on a good schedule. Sometimes things get delayed because of the heavy traffic at the corner, but we just manage it as it comes. We don't have a corporate style at all. We just talk to people like they are our neighbors. Most of our customers are just looking for a reliable way to get to the temple or the station. We sit here, watch the city go by from the window, and keep the travel business running day after day.
