Padmavati Masale

We are situated right near Vinayak High School, so we often hear the school bell ringing and the kids playing during their breaks. It is a lively area to be in, and being part of a housing society means there are always people around. We have a modest setup here where we focus on our masalas. The room is usually filled with the sharp scent of chilies and turmeric, which can make you sneeze if you are not used to it. We have been doing this for a while, and our routine is pretty much set. We start early, get the grinders going, and spend the day making sure the mixtures are right. It is not glamorous work, and we often go home with spice dust on our clothes, but it is what we do. We don't have any big missions or fancy mottos. We just try to make a decent batch and keep our small business running in Shahpur. Ichalkaranji is a hardworking town, and we fit right in with that spirit. Sometimes the street gets a bit crowded with parked scooters and delivery vans, but we manage to navigate it. We are just a local family-run type of place, and we are okay with that. Being near the high school keeps us feeling like we are part of the community. It's just home for us.
