Morjai Nidhi Limited is based in Koparde, which is in the Karveer Taluka of Kolhapur. Our office is at House Number 414/2 on Varachi Galli, in the care of Shri Sarjerao Shripati Patil. It is a very local operation. We do not have a high-rise office or a big staff of people in suits. It is just a few of us working in the community we grew up in. The 416205 area is quiet and mostly rural. We help our members save their hard-earned money and provide small loans when they have a specific need. That is the long and short of it. We spend our time checking the ledgers and making sure every entry is in order. It is important to be accurate when you are dealing with other people's money. We know the people who come through the door; they are our friends and neighbors. We do not use any fancy financial jargon or complicated terms. If someone has a question about their account, we just explain it as clearly as we can. Working from Varachi Galli means we are right in the heart of the village life. It is a comfortable place to work. We do not have big ambitions of being a national bank. We just want to do right by the people here in Koparde. It is simple work, but it feels good to be useful to the people around us.
