We are based in Ichalkaranji, which many people know as a huge center for textiles in Maharashtra. Our office is in the Krishna Building, located in the Kagwade Mala area. It’s in Ward No. 5. If you walk around here, you can always hear the rhythmic sound of power looms working in the distance. It’s the heartbeat of this town. Our office isn't anything special to look at from the outside. Inside, it’s a practical workspace where we handle all our impex tasks. We have some basic desks and a couple of computers that are always running. The floors are tiled and easy to keep clean from the dust that blows in. Hatkanangle is the taluka, but Ichalkaranji is where the real action is for us. We spend a lot of time coordinating with local producers and checking on the quality of goods. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just have to wait it out or use our backups. It’s a very local way of working. We know most of the people in the building and the neighboring shops. We usually have our meetings over small cups of tea. It’s a down-to-earth place where everyone knows everyone else. We are just a part of the local fabric here, trying to move products from our small corner of Kolhapur to the rest of the world. It gets very rainy here during the monsoon, but we keep working through it.
