Mahatma Gandhi Cancer Hospital

Our hospital, the Mahatma Gandhi Cancer Hospital, is on the Sangli Miraj Road, specifically in the Budhagaonkar Mala area. This road is a main stretch between the two towns, so there's always a lot of traffic passing by at all hours. The hospital sits a little back from the road so it’s not too loud. It’s a practical building designed for patient care. We have been here long enough that most people in the Miraj area know exactly where we are located. It’s a busy place. We handle a lot of people every day who come for various reasons. The layout is simple, nothing to get lost in. We have various sections for different stages of treatment and care. It’s not a shiny new facility, but it’s sturdy and serves its purpose well. Being on the Sangli Miraj Road makes it easy for people from both towns to reach us quickly. We don't have a lot of fancy brochures or a big PR team to promote us. We just focus on the daily tasks that need to be done. The waiting room gets its fair share of use throughout the week. Sometimes the hum of the traffic from the road reaches inside, but mostly it stays focused on the work at hand. We are just a group of people working together in this building to help those who come through our doors. It’s a long day sometimes, but it’s what we do.
