Mahalaxmi Traders Co

Mahalaxmi Traders Co is located right near the Jain Mandir in the Shedshal area. Specifically, we are in Malbhag, which is part of Shirol. It is a quiet enough spot most mornings until we start moving the stock around. Being so close to the temple means everyone in the village knows exactly where to find us, so we never really had to put up a huge sign. We handle various trading goods, mostly things that local people and businesses around the taluka need for their daily work. The building we use is old but it stays cool in the summer, which is nice when we are counting inventory. Usually, there are just a couple of us here keeping track of what comes in and what goes out. The paperwork can get a bit messy during the busy seasons, especially when the harvest is happening and everyone is in a rush. We don't have any corporate manuals or polished sales pitches. We just talk to the people who come in, figure out what they are looking for, and see if we have it in the back. Shirol is a good place for a trading business like ours because we know the farmers and the other shop owners personally. We spend a lot of our time just sitting out front or by the main desk, waiting for the next truck to arrive. It’s a simple life and we’ve been doing it this way for years.
