Mahalaxmi Tarpaulin

You can find us on Maharana Pratap Road over in the Laxmipuri area. We are at number 2157-C, which is a very busy part of the street with shops lined up right next to each other. We handle all kinds of tarpaulins and heavy covers. Outside the shop, you will often see big rolls of thick fabric leaning against the wall if we are in the middle of unloading a new shipment. Inside, the space feels a bit tight because these tarpaulins take up a lot of room once they are rolled out. The whole place has a strong smell of heavy canvas and treated plastic. We have been working here in Laxmipuri for a long time now and we know most of the people who run the other shops on this road. Sometimes we pull a stool out onto the sidewalk when things are quiet just to see what is happening in the street. We don’t do any advertising or anything like that. People usually find us because they saw our board or someone told them we were here. When the monsoon season is about to start, the shop gets really crowded with people looking for covers to protect their homes or their trucks from the rain. We try our best to help everyone out, even if they only need a small scrap of material. The building is getting a bit old and the paint is peeling off the ceiling, but that doesn’t stop us from doing our work.
