Kolhapuri Products

You can find us in Rajarampuri 10th Lane. We are right near the Gold Museum, which makes it easier to explain to people who are lost. Kolhapuri Products is what we do, and it’s mostly about local stuff that people from this area recognize immediately. The shop isn't very large, but we pack it full of everything we can. It’s a bit crowded in here, honestly. We have shelves stacked high and sometimes things get a bit dusty if they sit for too long. We don’t have a team of designers or a big advertising budget. We just sell what we have and talk to the people who walk in off the street. The 10th lane is a busy little spot, especially in the evenings. We spend our time checking the stock and talking to the craftsmen who bring us their work. It’s a very hands-on kind of business. We don’t use a lot of technology, just a simple book to keep track of sales. Sometimes we sit outside on a stool and watch the people go by. It’s a slow kind of life, but it suits us. We aren't trying to be the biggest store in the city. We just want to keep the local traditions going and make sure the customers leave happy.
