Jotirling Travels

Out here in Malkapur, on the Kolhapur Ratnagiri Road, is where Jotirling Travels is set up. We’re right near the Vitthal Mandir, so you can often hear the temple bells in the morning and evening. It’s a pretty good location because a lot of people heading towards Ratnagiri stop nearby. Our shop is just a simple room with the basics. We have a bench outside where people wait for their rides or just sit and chat. The road out front is quite busy with people traveling to the coast. We see all kinds of travelers, from families on vacation to people moving goods. It's a lot of work keeping things running, especially when the weather is bad. We keep our keys on a big board behind the desk so we don't lose them. The office gets a bit of a breeze if we keep the door open, which is nice in the summer months. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who take turns being in the office. It’s a practical business. We don't spend money on fancy signs or decorations. We just focus on getting the cars out on time and making sure the drivers know where they are going. People in Malkapur know us as the place near the temple. It’s been that way for a while now and we are happy with how things are. We just take it one day at a time and try to stay helpful.
