Jeevansathi Multipurpose Nidhi Limited is located at Shri Abaji Bhikaji Magdum’s property. The address is Rs Number 849/A Ward, Plot Number 26, right near Surve Nagar in Kalamba. It is a residential kind of area, so it feels very much like a home office. We started this because we wanted to help the people in our own neighborhood with their money matters without them having to go all the way into the main city. The office is just a part of the house that we converted into a working space. We have a few cupboards for the files and a table where we do the accounting. Most of the people who come here are neighbors we have known for years. We don't have any corporate polish or slick talk. We just tell people how things are and help them save what they can. Kalamba is a nice place, and being near Surve Nagar means we get a lot of local foot traffic. Sometimes the kids are playing cricket outside and we have to watch out for the ball, but it’s all part of being in a real community. We keep the doors open so people can just walk in whenever they have a spare moment. It’s a very simple operation run by local people who care about their neighbors. We just focus on keeping the books clean and the customers happy. That’s pretty much all there is to it, nothing more and nothing less.
