Our office is out at Plot No. P-39/1 in the MIDC Gokul Shirgaon area of Kolhapur. Being in the MIDC means we are surrounded by other factories and workshops, which feels right for the kind of work we do. We deal with sensors and automation stuff, so the place is full of small boxes and technical manuals. It’s a quiet, industrial atmosphere for the most part, though things pick up when the transport trucks arrive in the afternoon. We don’t go for anything flashy here. The office is simple, with basic desks and a small area for testing out the electronics. Most of us commute from the city, so there is always a bit of talk about the local traffic or the weather before we start the day's work. We handle the technical queries as they come in and spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at wiring diagrams. It’s the kind of place where you can just walk in and see the team working on actual solutions without any corporate fluff getting in the way. The canteen nearby serves good local food, which is where you’ll find us during the lunch hour. We’ve been part of this Gokul Shirgaon community for a long time, and we like the practical, no-nonsense vibe of the industrial estate. It’s just about getting the sensors out and making sure they work.
