Guruprasadhospital

We are over at 1486 D in Uttereswarpeth, right in the heart of Kolhapur. The area is pretty traditional and we’ve been part of it for a long time. It’s a bit crowded around here, especially during festival times when the streets get packed. Our building isn't the newest on the block, but it's sturdy and serves its purpose well. We have the usual equipment you'd expect in a local hospital. Nothing too high-tech, just the basics that work. The staff here speaks the local language and we know many of the families who live nearby in Uttereswarpeth. We’ve had the same sign out front for ages. It’s a bit faded from the Maharashtra sun. Inside, the rooms are simple. We try to keep the noise down, but with the city sounds outside, it’s not always easy. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy letters for us. We just focus on the people who come in needing help. The paperwork can be a bit of a headache sometimes. There’s always someone coming or going. We just keep at it, day in and day out. It’s a busy life in Kolhapur but we wouldn't have it any other way. We're just a local hospital trying to do right by the neighbors. We have a small plant by the entrance that someone gave us years ago. It’s still growing, somehow. The front door is a little heavy to push.
