Our company, Patel Petro Private Limited, is based at Plot No. H 4 in the M.I.D.C. area of Gokul Shirgao. It’s a pretty industrial spot. We work with petroleum-related products, which means safety is always on our minds, even if we don't talk about it in a corporate way. It’s just common sense when you’re around this kind of stuff. The shop isn't fancy. We have some tanks and some pipes and a small office where we keep the paperwork. It’s often quiet here compared to the bigger cities, but there’s always a pump running or a truck idling somewhere. We’ve been here for a while and we know the rhythms of the M.I.D.C. We don't have a big marketing budget or a team of salespeople. Usually, it's just the owner or one of the senior guys answering the phone. We like to keep things direct. If there’s a problem, we fix it. If an order is late, we explain why without making up excuses. It’s a straightforward business. The weather in Gokul Shirgao can be unpredictable, but we stay busy regardless. We aren't trying to be the most famous company in India. We just want to do our part and keep the business running for another year. It’s just us, doing our thing at Plot H 4. We don't need much more than a good machine and a clear list of work.
