Gift Garden

We are located at Shop No. 5/197 in Dhaanya Galli, over in the Kagwade Mala area of Ichalkaranji. It’s a bit of a mouthful to say the whole address, but it’s a good little spot. Gift Garden is basically a small shop filled with all sorts of things we think people might like. We spend a lot of time just arranging the shelves and making sure everything looks okay. Ichalkaranji is a busy place, and Dhaanya Galli has its own flow of people looking for different things. We aren't a big department store. We’re just a small local shop. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped in here when we get a new shipment in, and we have to stack things up high. We don't have any fancy displays or anything. It's all very basic. We just try to keep things honest and talk to whoever walks through the door. Some days are quiet and we just sit and listen to the radio. Other days, especially around holidays, it gets quite busy and we’re on our feet all day. We’ve been here in Kagwade Mala for a while now. We know most of the people who walk past our door. It’s a nice feeling to be part of the neighborhood. We don’t try to do anything too complicated, just keep the shop open and see who comes in.
