Our company is located at units 68 to 89 in the Parvati Co-Op. Industrial Estate. This is out in Ichalkaranji, in the Yadrav area. Fuel Instruments & Engineers has been operating here for quite a while. We have a pretty large space since we took over several units in the estate. It is an industrial town, so everyone around here is involved in some kind of manufacturing or engineering. We spend our days working on testing machines and other technical instruments. The workshop is always busy. We have many people from the local village working with us. It is not a fancy corporate office. We have concrete floors and high ceilings to keep the heat out. Ichalkaranji is known for its textile stuff, but we handle the engineering side. We have our own way of doing things that has worked for us for years. There is a lot of iron and steel around the shop. We do not do much in the way of fancy meetings. Usually, if there is a problem, we just stand around the machine and figure it out. The estate is a bit dusty, and the roads could be better, but it is where we belong. We have built a steady life here. Most of our staff have been with us for a long time. We just want to keep making reliable instruments and supporting the local industry. It is honest, hard work.
