D.R.Kulhalli Const.Pvt.Ltd. operates out of Plot No. 21 in the Ambedkar Society, near Trimurti Colony in Jaysingpur. It is a nice neighborhood, mostly residential, so we try to keep our office activities as quiet as possible for the sake of the neighbors. Our office is just a standard building where we handle the daily side of the construction business. We have a small team here, and most of us have worked together for several years now. A lot of our day is spent looking over architectural drawings or talking to the crew members at our various building sites. Jaysingpur is the kind of place where you know almost everyone, so we often see friends and neighbors passing by our window during the day. The office is a little bit crowded with rolls of blueprints and boxes of old records, but we have our own system and know where everything is. We do not have any fancy mission statements or glossy brochures to hand out. People in the area know us because they have seen the work we do. Sometimes we sit out on the front steps during our lunch break just to get some sun and air. The weather in this part of Maharashtra can get pretty humid, so we keep the windows open whenever there is a breeze. We start our work early in the morning and finish up when the sun goes down. It is a simple and steady life for us.
