Dhanvantari Ayuvedic Panchakarma Hospital

Ichalkaranji is known for its looms and factories, and our hospital sits right in the middle of this busy town. It’s a bit of a trek for some, but being in a central spot helps. We have been operating this Panchakarma center for a while. The building has several rooms for the treatments, and we try to keep things as organized as we can. It’s not always easy because a hospital always has something going on. Someone is always cleaning a floor or moving equipment around. We have the usual beds and the wooden tables for the oil massages. The smell of the decoctions being prepared in the kitchen area often spreads through the whole hallway. It is a very specific smell, kind of sweet and bitter at the same time. The staff here mostly lives nearby, so we all know the local shortcuts and where to get the best tea during breaks. Ichalkaranji can get very dusty, so we are constantly dusting the windowsills and the reception desk. We don't have any of those sleek, modern waiting rooms you see in the big cities. Ours is just a plain room with enough chairs for everyone. People come in, sit for a bit, and talk about their day while they wait. It feels more like a community spot than a cold medical facility. We just go about our business and try to help people with what we have. It’s a lot of manual work but we are used to it.
