Chaugule Hospital

Chaugule Hospital is situated out on Pandharpur Road. It is one of those places that you just sort of know if you live around here. The road itself is always busy with people heading in and out of town, and we are right in the middle of all that movement. Running a hospital on Pandharpur Rd means we see a lot of different things every single day. The building isn't brand new, it has some character and a few scratches on the walls, but it serves its purpose well. I think people appreciate that it feels like a real place rather than a cold, sterile office building. We have a small team here, and most of us have been working together for years. We don’t really bother with big advertisements or anything like that. People mostly find us because they live nearby or someone told them where we were. The waiting area is usually full of people from the local farms or shops. I try to keep the paperwork from piling up too high on my desk, but it’s a constant battle. In the evenings, when the traffic on the road dies down a little, it gets quite peaceful here. We just keep doing what we’ve always done, day in and day out. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we don't think about it too much, we just get on with the chores and the patients and making sure everything is ready for the next day.
